Nanotechnological sensor monitors metal detachments from mechanical mining shovels in real time. The solution improves processes and the safety of workers. It also increases the useful life of mining equipment. A problem present in the crushing process is the grinding of metallic elements from the teeth of mechanical mining shovels. For this reason, Cedenna presented a new technological solution to detect the fall of these teeth, avoiding accidents and work stoppages.
