CEDENNA Scientists Create Nanoencapsulated Fungicides to Improve Fruit Tree Production.

Cooperativa Ciencia highlighted on its portal that a group of CEDENNA-USACH researchers are developing nanoparticles from natural polymers, loaded with antifungal agents of botanical origin to prevent damage caused by wood fungi in fruit trees and vineyards.

Today in the online newspaper El Mostrador the innovative scientific advance being worked on within the CEDENNA Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Green Nanoparticles, was highlighted.

These specimens come from a diversity of native and Antarctic plants. This milestone promises to transform agriculture and health, offering more efficient and sustainable solutions in pest control and the fight against multi-resistant bacteria, marking a significant step in the country's scientific innovation.
