In a meeting that highlights the synergy between the world of science and industry, a group of 12 researchers from the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) made an enriching visit to the Rosario plant of Agrosuper, located in the commune of Rengo.
The CEDENNA Center experts were received by Catalina Hernández, in charge of visits to the plant, who told the history and the most recent advances in its developments and projects. The visit provided an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences between both parties.
The Executive Director of the CEDENNA Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Dr. Juan Escrig Murúa highlighted the potential for mutual collaboration between nanoscience and industry, stating that “research centers like CEDENNA are crucial to creating an effective bridge between universities and companies".
“Its role in the generation and transfer of knowledge, training of talent, promotion of multidisciplinary collaboration and contribution to economic and social development is essential for the progress and competitiveness of our societies. Promoting and supporting these centers is investing in a more innovative, sustainable and prosperous future for all,” he highlighted.
In a world where innovation is key to competitiveness and sustainable development, the connection between science and industry is revealed as a driving force for progress. This link between CEDENNA and Agrosuper is just one example of how interdisciplinary collaboration can open new doors connecting nanoscience and nanotechnology with industry.
