Open Lab CEDENNA is an innovative program that aims to create a node of associated companies to promote research and technological development, in the search for innovative solutions to the challenges of the different productive sectors of the country.
Until Friday, September 15 (5:00 p.m.), photographs will be received for the "CEDENNA 2023 Images" Contest, through which our center seeks to collect the best images related to nanoscience and nanotechnology, based on the work carried out in the various CEDENNA research groups, in the recent year.

The German company Kipu Quantum GmbH and the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, CEDENNA, through the University of Santiago de Chile, signed a Research Agreement to develop digital, analog and digital-analog quantum computing solutions.
This agreement has a significant impact for the country, since it is the only one signed in Chile and Latin America by this German software company, focused on the development of specific quantum algorithms for applications and hardware that are marketed as business solutions.

In an extraordinary session and by unanimous vote, the Chilean Academy of Sciences appointed the CEDENNA researcher, Dr. Juan Alejandro Valdivia Hepp, as a corresponding member of the scientific entity after a rigorous selection process in which his career, prestige, quality of research and contribution to the training of new scientists. Dr. Valdivia is a PhD in Physics from the University of Maryland, in the USA, a Simulations researcher at CEDENNA and a tenured professor in the Physics Department of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Chile.
