Until Friday, November 3, the exhibition "Images of the Nanoworld" will remain on display at the La Tirana Campus of the University of Tarapacá, a traveling exhibition that hopes to tour a large part of the country, bringing nanoscience and nanotechnology to children, young people and adults.
Completely enthusiastic, surprised and eager to return, the 4th year students of the Juan Bautista Durán School visited the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA).
After an introductory talk to the nano world, given by our CEDENNA researcher and Leader of the Nanosafety Laboratory, Dr. Mauricio Escudey, the students took an unforgettable tour of the Nanosafety, Nanoniomedicine, Nanomagnetism, Packaging and Electronic Microscopy laboratories, achieving way, create a huge link between students and nanotechnology.

On Wednesday, October 11, in a hybrid public session, the Chilean Academy of Sciences welcomed Dr. Alejandro Valdivia, CEDENNA researcher and Full Professor in the Department of Physics of the University of Chile, as a corresponding member.

On Friday, October 6, 30 3rd and 4th grade students from Colegio San Miguel de los Andes visited us. On September 28, the Exhibition "Images of the Nanoworld" was inaugurated at the Saucache Campus Library (Arica) of the University of Tarapacá (UTA), which brings together 12 images of nanoparticles of various materials, captured through electron microscopy by researchers from the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Center, CEDENNA, who then applied color and textures to amaze us with the beautiful photographs that give life to this original exhibition.
