Innovation in Nanotechnology for the Food Industry on Canal 24 Horas and TVN
The Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) was featured on TVN's Agricultural Report, where innovative research was highlighted that seeks to extend the shelf life of food through the use of nanotechnology in packaging. The study, conducted by a team of researchers from CEDENNA and Laben Chile, develops new packaging materials with nanoparticles, which prevent the growth of fungi such as Botrytis cinerea (gray mold), responsible for significant losses in agricultural production, especially in fruits such as strawberries.
