Dr. Jay Gan: Leading chemist from Riverside University visited CEDENNA laboratories

Yesterday, Monday, November 25, 2024, the Center for the Development of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) received a first-class visit. Dr. Jay Gan, a renowned chemist from the University of Riverside, California, United States, toured our facilities and learned about the research advances we are developing.

During his visit, Dr. Gan had the opportunity to explore several key laboratories at CEDENNA, including Electron Microscopy, Nanobiomedicine, Packaging Technologies, Nanostructure Chemistry and Nanosecurity.

Students of the Master of Science in Industrial Civil Engineering from Diego Portales University visited CEDENNA

In a day marked by interest and learning, students of the Master of Science in Industrial Civil Engineering at Diego Portales University toured the facilities of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA).

 

During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore the advances in #Nanotechnology and #Nanoscience promoted by the center, and learned about the work carried out in the following laboratories:

Yesterday, The Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology had the honor of receiving the outstanding historian and 2024 National History Award, Dr. César Ross, in an enriching conversation held at our facilities. This activity allowed students to interact directly with Dr. Ross, who shared his experiences, knowledge, and perspectives, providing a valuable opportunity for learning and reflection.

In an unprecedented collaboration between the CEDENNA Foundation and the Medical College of Chile, the webinar "Nanotechnology for the medicine of the future: a first step towards clinical innovation" will be presented, an event that will serve as the opening for the course "Nanotechnology for Medical Professionals ". The objective of this course is to bring the benefits and applications of nanotechnology to Chilean doctors, preparing them to face the challenges of an increasingly advanced and personalized medicine..
