Last July, the Nanosafety Unit participated in a first informative meeting, in which it was indicated that prior to the development of this test, a training day must be completed that will take place in September in Schmallenberg (Germany).

The executive director of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA), Dr. Juan Escrig, described the entity's participation in the seminar “Challenges and Opportunities in Small Mining” as an “important door for collaboration with small-scale mining. By the unanimity of its members, the board of directors of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, CEDENNA, elected Dr. Juan Escrig Murúa as the new executive director of the institution, replacing Dr. Dora Altbir Drullinsky, who directed the Center from its inception. creation and managed to position it as the main reference for nanoscience and nanotechnology in the country.
